Dia de los Muertos Anaheim 2026 events still on today, Sunday, Nov. 1, include the Packing District and Anaheim Indoor Marketplace celebrations, both noon to 4 p.m., and the Ducks' 5 p.m. game. Plaza de la Familia at Disneyland Resort ends Monday, Nov. 2.
Friday and Saturday events have passed, including the City of Anaheim's Day of the Dead: A Night of Community & Culture, which was scheduled for Oct. 30. That leaves today plus Monday. Plan around the weather: the National Weather Service forecast for Orange County Inland, issued early this morning, calls for likely rain this morning, then partly cloudy skies with a slight chance of afternoon showers and highs of 68 to 72. Monday looks mostly sunny, with highs of 73 to 76.
Today in Anaheim: Sunday, Nov. 1
-
Packing District, noon to 4 p.m. The Día de los Muertos by Makers Hive Market and Packing District event is listed at 440 S. Anaheim Blvd. If you went last year, note the shorter window: the 2025 edition ran noon to 9 p.m. The district calendar also lists Feather Flowers playing Día de los Muertos music at Anaheim Packing House from 2 to 4 p.m.
-
Anaheim Indoor Marketplace, noon to 4 p.m. The marketplace at 1440 S. Anaheim Blvd. is hosting its own Dia de Los Muertos, described as a free, family-friendly event with music, food and traditions. The listing prints no year, but Sunday, Nov. 1 matches 2026.
-
Anaheim Ducks vs. Ottawa Senators, 5 p.m. The Día de Muertos celebration at Honda Center gives the first 5,000 fans a Wild Wing sugar skull. The team also lists Mariachi Nuevo Jalisciense, Relámpago del Cielo Ballet Folklórico, virtual ofrendas, free face painting at the Modelo Puck Drop Patio and Modelo Club, and about 2,000 paper sugar skull artworks by Anaheim and Santa Ana elementary students. The team says a limited number of tickets are available.
Today and Monday at Disneyland Resort
Monday is the last day for both Disney celebrations here in Anaheim. These are Disneyland Resort events, not Walt Disney World. Halloween Time ended Oct. 31, so these two days are the leftover stretch of the fall season.
-
Disney California Adventure: Plaza de la Familia runs through Nov. 2 with a Coco-inspired storytelling show in Paradise Gardens Park, live mariachi at the Paradise Garden Bandstand and Mexican-inspired food at Paradise Garden Grill. In Cars Land, look for Ramone's traditional ofrenda display for Doc Hudson.
-
Disneyland Park: Zócalo Park in Frontierland, near Rancho del Zócalo Restaurante, has marigolds, papel picado, two traditional ofrendas, sugar skulls and a La Catrina figure. The official event page gives the same Nov. 2 end date.
You need a valid ticket and a theme park reservation for the same park on the same date. Disney says reservations are limited and not guaranteed, so sort that out before you drive over.
Monday, Nov. 2 in Anaheim
Besides Disney's final day, the Anaheim Public Library calendar lists DIY Dia De Los Muertos Headbands from 11 a.m. to noon at the Euclid Branch. It is an in-person program for adults, and the calendar showed eight seats left as of Nov. 1.
A short drive today: Fullerton, Santa Ana and Cypress
These events are outside Anaheim, but they are all on today:
-
Fullerton, noon to 4 p.m.: The Muckenthaler Día de los Muertos Festival has activities, stage performances and ofrendas. Enjoy Orange County lists it as free at 1201 W. Malvern Ave.
-
Santa Ana, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Bowers Museum's Mexican Day of the Dead is a free family festival in the Key Courtyard at 2002 N. Main St., though sugar skull and magnet decorating cost extra. Performers include Mariachi Anacatlan and Relámpago del Cielo, with free pan dulce and hot chocolate. You can bring a photo for the community ofrenda. The museum says locations may change based on weather.
-
Cypress, noon to 3 p.m.: Forest Lawn lists Cypress among its Nov. 1 sites and notes that location and time vary. Enjoy Orange County places it at 4471 Lincoln Ave.
Still ahead in November
-
Saturday, Nov. 7, Fullerton: Noche de Muertos runs 4 to 8 p.m. at the Fullerton Museum Center, according to the Fullerton Observer, with community altars, live music, a beer garden, face painting, arts and crafts, and vendors.
-
Nov. 21-22, Anaheim: Anaheim GardenWalk, 400 W. Disney Way, lists a two-day Dia de los Muertos market with local vendors, vintage accessories and handmade items. It falls well after the holiday, and the listing gives no hours or cost.
What about Anaheim Cemetery?
The Orange County Cemetery District has not posted a 2026 Día de los Muertos program for Anaheim Cemetery. Its Anaheim events page lists only the May 25 Memorial Day program, and its Community Events page shows no Día de los Muertos event at any cemetery.
The grounds at 1400 E. Sycamore St. are open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for anyone who wants to visit family. The district's one clearly dated 2026 "To Go" event is at El Toro Memorial Park on Monday from 1 p.m. until supplies run out, with craft kits, marigolds and Pan de Muertos.
Put these on next year's calendar
We found no 2027 dates from any of these organizers, so treat this as a list of patterns, not a schedule. Nov. 1, 2027 is a Monday and Nov. 2 is a Tuesday.
-
City of Anaheim: The city describes its celebration as annual, with altars, performances, food and activities at the Downtown Anaheim Community Center and Center Greens Park. This year's date was tagged as a free event.
-
Disneyland Resort: The 2026 run started in late August, which leaves plenty of time to go on a weekday.
-
Packing District: The event landed on Nov. 1 in both 2025 and 2026.
-
Anaheim Cemetery: An archive listing shows a 2025 "To Go" pickup with craft kits, marigold bouquets and Pan de Muertos, and a 2024 in-person celebration with ballet folklórico, mariachi, face painting, kids' crafts and space to build ofrendas at gravesites. Those are past programs only. The district's number is (949) 951-9102.
